The Third Line is proud to present a dynamic selection of works by Abbas Akhavan, Joana Hadjithomas & Khalil Joreige, Lamya Gargash, and Sophia Al-Maria to the inaugural edition of Art Week Riyadh, a new platform by Saudi Arabia’s Visual Arts Commission that celebrates Saudi’s thriving art scene, bringing leading local and international galleries to JAX District and the wider city.
The Third Line’s presentation brings together a dynamic selection of contemporary voices from the region. Through diverse practices spanning installation, photography, and conceptual interventions, these artists explore themes of memory, space, and cultural narratives. Their works engage with personal and collective histories, offering thought-provoking perspectives that resonate within the evolving landscape of contemporary art in the Middle East.
