The Third Line is proud to present a dynamic selection of works by Amir H. Fallah, Hayv Kahraman, Kamran Samimi, Rana Begum, Sarah Awad, and Vian Sora to Art Dubai 2025. This presentation brings together artists who explore identity, materiality, and abstraction through distinct yet interwoven visual languages of painting.
From Rana Begum’s luminous, geometric compositions that blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture to Vian Sora’s expressive, layered canvases that evoke memory and resilience through their richly textured surfaces, the booth examines how color interacts with form to create depth, rhythm, and emotional resonance. Amir H. Fallah’s intricate, vibrant mixed-media works of floral arrangements reinterpret the Dutch/Flemish Renaissance still-life tradition through his distinctive visual language, while Kamran Samimi’s sculptural meditations on nature and its ineffable beauty reflect a deep engagement with material and transformation. At the same time, Hayv Kahraman’s delicate, fragmented figures confront themes of migration and the female body, whereas Sarah Awad’s bold, gestural paintings—newly created for Art Dubai 2025—investigate pictorial space through subtle hints at figuration.
Bringing together diverse yet interconnected approaches, this presentation examine how contemporary artists navigate personal and collective histories through abstraction, figuration, and material innovation.
